Global Language System, a division of Global Impact Group LLC, is currently seeking a qualified Hausa Interpreter to support interpretation services for the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS).
Responsibilities:
Provide accurate English ↔ Hausa interpretation via telephone.
Facilitate clear communication between USCIS officers and limited English proficient individuals.
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism during interpretation sessions.
Follow interpreter ethics and standards.
Requirements:
Fluency in English and Hausa.
Prior interpretation experience (legal, immigration, or government preferred).Ability to perform consecutive interpretation accurately.
Reliable phone and internet connection.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and impartiality.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience interpreting for immigration or government agencies.
Interpreter certification or professional training.
Familiarity with USCIS terminology and procedures.
