Job Setting: Hospital20 anesthesia rooms; Epic & iPro charting system Types of Cases: General, Ortho, OB

Call: No in-house, weeknight, or weekend call required Supervision: MDs supervising CRNAs (2:1 CRNA to MD ratio); MDs also performing their own cases Credentialing: Estimated privileging timeframe: 60 days ResponsibilitiesPre-anesthesia assessment Obtains and/or verifies patient consent Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition Performance of clinical intervention as needed Minimum RequirementsLicensure: Current license as a registered professional nurse; state license must be held prior to start (facility will not accept candidates who need to obtain state license)

Education: Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education
