Head of School

Kids' Canvas is a Reggio-based early childhood educational environment for children ages 0-5. We use art, music, theater, movement, science, and nature as tools for creative discovery and learning. Our curriculum encourages children’s natural need to play, create, and socialize and provides them with a warm and nurturing environment to express themselves. We like to follow the lead of our students and give them the freedom to explore their physical and imaginative worlds, while working alongside them. Our Core Values are: Communication, Attitude, Collaboration, Community, and Caring The Head of School is a full-time, on-site leadership role responsible for overseeing the school’s curriculum, day-to-day operations, and admissions. The Head of School will manage day-to-day activities such as: scheduling staff and studentscommunication with familiesensure compliance with DOH regulations Oversee classrooms This role includes:managing staff: conducting regular performance reviews, providing mentorshiprecruiting, hiring, onboarding and training staff
