Overview: Labela is seeking U.S.-based Pediatric Oncologists at every career stage, from board-certified attendings and fellows to senior residents (PGY-2 and above), for high-level clinical consulting. You will serve as a subject matter expert to validate, refine, and audit the clinical reasoning of frontier AI models. This is a flexible, remote role designed to let clinicians influence the safety and accuracy of medical AI at scale.
Key Responsibilities: Clinical Logic Auditing: Review and refine AI-generated diagnostic and treatment strategies to ensure alignment with AAP/COG standards. High-Complexity Validation: Provide expert-level ground truth for intricate pediatric oncological case presentations, staging, and protocol-based therapy. Safety Oversight: Identify clinical inaccuracies or hallucinations in AI outputs that could impact patient safety or triage decisions. Strategic Consulting: Advise on the development of AI-driven clinical decision support tools for pediatric oncological care.
Qualifications
Credentials: Board-certified or board-eligible in Pediatric Hematology-Oncology (ABP), or a current senior resident or fellow (PGY-2 or above) training in the field.
Experience: 2+ years of postgraduate clinical training. Established attendings and senior trainees are equally welcome.
Citizenship: Must be based in the United States. Communication: Ability to provide concise, technical feedback on complex clinical cases.
Position Details: Environment: 100% Remote Commitment: Flexible, project-based hours designed to fit around a clinical or training schedule. This engagement runs July 30 to August 31, 2026.Location Focus: We are prioritizing candidates based in California for this cohort, though the role is fully remote across the United States.
