Participate in scheduled weekday onsite coverage from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Provide weekday evening and overnight call coverage. Provide weekend call coverage from Saturday morning through Monday morning. Perform interventional procedures, including balloon angioplasty, coronary angioplasty, PCI, heart catheterization, coronary angiography, carotid artery stenting, atherectomy, and embolic protection procedures. Provide medical management of vascular disease. Complete clinical documentation in EPIC. Participate in rounding responsibilities as needed. What You Need Required Interventional Cardiology qualifications appropriate for the assignment. Ability to provide inpatient and call coverage. Ability to perform the listed interventional cardiology procedures. Ability to document care in EPIC. Preferred Experience caring for adult and geriatric patients. Availability for the listed weekday, overnight, and weekend call schedule. About the Assignment This inpatient locum assignment is with a leading facility in Mechanicsville, Virginia, featuring approximately 250 beds and 30 ICU beds. Other Interventional Cardiologists will be present during coverage, and the locum physician will not be required to supervise other healthcare providers.
