The Medical University of South Carolina, Department of Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery, invites applications for a full‑time faculty position.
Responsibilities:
Active participation in teaching, research, and patient care. Expectation to contribute to didactic and clinical teaching, scholarship, and research. Provide leadership in modern, evidence‑based care and innovation in learning.
Qualifications:
MD degree or equivalent. Eligibility for Board certification in Dermatology. Demonstrated expertise in teaching, scholarship, and research preferred. Excellent personal and communication skills and a positive, humanistic attitude are required.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to perform job functions in an upright, seated, or mobile position; work indoors and outdoors; work in confined spaces; use both hands; perform repetitive motions; reach in all directions; maintain good finger dexterity; maintain tactile sensory function; lift up to 15 lbs. unassisted; maintain 20/40 vision; maintain hearing acuity; perform gross motor function with fine motor movements.
