Wire Cutting Machine Operator - Full Time

Responsibilities: Operate wire cutting, measuring, and reeling equipment safely and efficiently Set up machines according to customer order specifications Measure and cut electrical wire and cable to accurate lengths Load and unload wire reels and spools from processing equipment Verify wire type, size, color, footage, and quantity before processing orders Inspect finished material for accuracy and quality Label and prepare completed wire orders for shipping or customer pickup Record cut lengths and remaining reel footage accurately Maintain organized wire inventory and storage areas Use forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment as needed Perform basic machine checks and identify equipment issues Keep machines and work areas clean and organized Follow all company safety procedures and equipment operating guidelines Assist with receiving, stocking, picking, and other warehouse duties when needed

Qualifications: Dependable attendance and strong work ethic Comfortable working around industrial machinery Strong attention to detail and basic math skills Ability to read and follow work orders Ability to accurately measure material and enter quantities Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. Comfortable standing and working on your feet throughout the shift Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team Forklift experience is preferred but not required Previous machine operator, warehouse, manufacturing, wire, or electrical distribution experience is a plus but not required
