Specialized Programming Teacher, Autism Program Specialized programming teacher who provides special education instruction and support to students in a District autism program according to the goals of the students' Individual Education Plans (IEP).Essential duties and responsibilities include implementing District curriculum and teaching practices, managing and coordinating the IEP process, modeling and supporting inclusive practices, regularly monitoring student learning progress, administering appropriate formal and informal assessments, supporting and implementing instruction around behavior, social emotional needs and self-regulation strategies, coordinating a team approach, managing a caseload of students, and maintaining professional and respectful communication with parents. Education and related work experience required include a Bachelor's degree in education or related field and a valid Colorado Teaching License with appropriate special education endorsement. Licenses/certifications/registrations required include U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services Employment Eligibility Verification (Form I-9) and a criminal background check required for hire.
