Key responsibilities:
Oversee requirements gathering, system design, and implementation of HVDC Control and Protection systems
Conduct Electromagnetic Transient studies and lead end-to-end validation across multiple simulation platforms
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers while promoting improvements in engineering processes
Required qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
Ten years of experience in HVDC control and protection system design
Proficiency in PSCAD, RSCAD, MATLAB, and Simulink
Experience with real-time simulation environments for Hardware-in-the-Loop testing
Knowledge of system testing methodologies, including Integration System Test and Factory Acceptance Tests
