Service Coordinator

Service Coordinator As a Service Coordinator at John W. Danforth Company, you will play a key role in supporting our service team and delivering an exceptional customer experience. You will serve as a central point of coordination for service operations by dispatching technicians, managing customer billing, and providing administrative support to ensure efficient day-to-day operations. • Coordinate and dispatch service technicians to ensure timely and efficient response to customer needs. • Support service operations by maintaining schedules, documentation, and technician communication. • Process and ensure accurate, timely customer billing for service work orders and projects. • Maintain clear and professional communication with customers, technicians, and internal stakeholders. • Keep internal and external stakeholders informed of schedules, challenges, and operational updates. • Coordinate vehicle and tool maintenance activities, including scheduling repairs and ensuring availability of spare vehicles. • Assist with payroll coordination and administrative support functions. • Support special projects and process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency. • Collaborate effectively with service team members to streamline operations and improve service delivery. • 2-3 years of billing, dispatch, customer service, or related experience preferred. Experience within a service-related industry is a plus. • Associate degree preferred; equivalent education and relevant work experience will be considered. • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel. • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP or similar ERP systems is preferred. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Strong customer service orientation and ability to build positive relationships. • Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. • Demonstrates professionalism, integrity, and a positive attitude.
