Temporary, Part-Time Affiliate Faculty The School of Hospitality at Metropolitan State University of Denver (MSU Denver) invites applications for temporary, part-time affiliate faculty teaching positions.
Responsibilities include:
  • Teach 3+ credit hours. Subject areas may include, but are not limited to: Basic Cooking Skills, International Cooking, and Foodservice Fundamentals
  • Work and interact with diverse groups of students, faculty, and staff
  • Demonstrate ability to effectively infuse technology into coursework
  • Be available for consultation with students
  • Required qualifications for an adjunct/affiliate faculty member in SOH include:
Completion of a master's degree in the field in which the faculty member is assigned to teach; orAn associate's degree or higher in a hospitality-related discipline plus professional experience that is current at the time of hire, that has been substantial in terms of duration and level of responsibility, and that clearly links to the field in which the faculty member is expected to teach. The final salary is based on the number of credit hours assigned at a rate determined by university policy. Rate of pay per credit hour assignment can be between $1233 - $1512.
