AI Automation Engineer

Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for web applications using Selenium WebDriver with JavaBuild and maintain robust API test automation frameworks using Rest AssuredDevelop reusable, scalable, and maintainable automation frameworksCollaborate with developers, product owners, and QA teams to understand requirements and define test strategiesIntegrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions) Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testingAnalyze test results, debug issues, and provide detailed reportsEnsure test coverage, traceability, and quality metrics are metContinuously improve automation processes and adopt best practicesParticipate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standardsRequired Skills &QualificationsStrong programming experience in JavaHands-on experience with Selenium WebDriverExperience in API testing using Rest AssuredSolid understanding of:o Test automation frameworks (e.g., TestNG, JUnit)o Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) conceptso Design patterns (e.g., Page Object Model) Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) Knowledge of CI/CD tools and pipelinesFamiliarity with:o JSON/XMLo HTTP protocols and RESTful servicesStrong debugging and analytical skillsExcellent communication and collaboration skillsGood to HaveExperience with Playwright or modern automation frameworks (e.g., Cypress) Exposure to progressive/next-gen automation frameworks and toolsKnowledge of other API testing tools/frameworks (e.g., Karate, Postman/Newman, SuperTest) Experience with BDD frameworks (e.g., Cucumber) Performance testing knowledge
