You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing wiring, electrical fixtures, equipment, and control systems, as well as training apprentices on the job. If you are a Journeyman Electrician with a can-do attitude, strong attention to detail, and pride in your work, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
Follow all company safety rules, OSHA requirements, and applicable North Carolina electrical codesMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environmentRead and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, sketches, and building plans to determine electrical requirements and materials neededInstall, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systemsPerform electrical installations and repairs in accordance with applicable codes and project specificationsProvide bids and estimates for work orders when requiredCommunicate professionally with customers, suppliers, subcontractors, and other industry professionalsTrain and provide guidance to apprentices and less-experienced electriciansEnsure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to company quality standards Qualifications: Previous experience as an Electrician required; Journeyman-level experience preferredKnowledge of applicable North Carolina electrical codes and regulationsValid Driver's LicenseAbility to stand, bend, climb, and work for extended periodsAbility to lift and carry heavy equipment and materialsStrong understanding of mathematical concepts, measurements, and electrical calculationsAbility to read and interpret blueprints and electrical plansStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsProfessional appearance and courteous personalityStrong communication and customer-service skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a team
