Preschool Teacher

KinderCare seeks passionate Teachers for our Cambridge KinderCare center. In this role, you will create safe, engaging classrooms that support each child’s social, emotional, and academic growth. Responsibilities include planning age-appropriate lessons, implementing curricula, observing and documenting child progress, and maintaining strong communication with families. You will collaborate with colleagues, uphold health and safety standards, and foster an inclusive, nurturing environment. Plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons and activities Implement KinderCare curricula and educational standards Create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment Observe, assess, and document children’s developmental progress Communicate regularly with families about child growth and needs Maintain classroom organization, cleanliness, and safety compliance Collaborate with teaching team and center leadership Support behavior guidance using positive, developmentally appropriate strategies Participate in professional development and training sessions Follow all licensing, health, and safety regulations Lesson planning Classroom management Early childhood curriculum implementation Child development assessment Parent communication Health and safety compliance Behavior guidance Recordkeeping and documentation Collaboration and teamwork CPR and First Aid Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k State early childhood education teaching credential or ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certification Background check and state childcare clearance Child development coursework or CDA credential preferred
