We are seeking a passionate Registered Nurse to join our child and adolescent unit, which serves patients aged 5-18 experiencing acute mental health crises. The unit emphasizes stabilization through a variety of group-based therapeutic offerings, including Activities Therapy, Mindfulness, Wellness, and Coping Skills groups, alongside psychopharmacological interventions.
Responsibilities:
Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to meet patient goals.
Provide safe, effective, and therapeutic care to patients.
Participate in a robust schedule of group therapy sessions.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
NYS RN License.
Two years of pediatric mental health experience.
BLS certification (American Heart Association only).
