Schedule FULL-TIME 1st Shift; Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM OR 2nd Shift; Monday - Thursday, 4:00 PM - 2:00 AM
Position Summary:
Repair and rebuild pneumatic control systems on the automated equipment, including cylinders control valves, actuators, etc. Repair, rebuild, or replace electric cylinders, electronic sensors fiber optic switches, and PLC components. Replace components and worn parts as needed. Perform preventative maintenance on equipment as needed.
Role Responsibilities:
Repair and rebuild pneumatic control systems on the automated equipment, including cylinders control valves, actuators, etc.
Repair, rebuild, or replace electric cylinders, electronic sensors fiber optic switches, and PLC components.
Repair, rebuild, and maintain mechanical components. Replace components and perishable parts as needed.
Identify product defects for fastener processes as required during trouble shooting
Identify product defects for fastener processes as required during trouble shooting. Determine the defect source, and initiate repairs on fastener equipment through interface with production mechanics, maintenance, and/or supervision.
Follow start up procedures for production equipment, and execute equipment start when required as a part of the automated equipment maintenance and/or trouble shooting activities.
Assist in the development, modification, and maintenance of preventative and predictive maintenance systems.
Perform any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Must have at least 2 years’ experience and some technical training in the electrical and mechanical Manufacturing Field
Must have strong low voltage electrical troubleshooting skills in a Manufacturing environment, (comparative to troubleshooting packaging equipment)
Must be able to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, notes etc. to perform diagnostic repairs on equipment
Must be able to analyze control programs to determine machine status and fault causes, modify programs when approved and necessary, and maintain program documentation in conjunction with Engineering.
Requirements:
100% of the time, must be able to work with various machines, hand tools, and equipment.
Must furnish own set of standard hand tools.
Must be able to read and write proficiently.
Must be able to follow oral and written instructions.
100% of the time, must be able to stand, lift, stoop, bend, walk, pull, and carry +/- 75 pounds.
Must be able to withstand continuous exposure to disagreeable noise, dirt, and fumes within the OSHA allowance.
Must be comfortable working in an environment where there is possible exposure to lost-time accidents, including but not limited to the hands, arms, feet, or back.
