Laboratory Technician

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Living SafelyActively participates in monthly safety meetingsEnsures rigorous compliance to safety procedures and OC corporate policiesFocuses on sustaining a safe work environment for self, team, and area visitorsMaintain current respirator fit program requirements, as neededMaintain Lab ExcellenceWork closely with Product Testing Leads to meet customer expectations for quality, turn-around time, communication of testing status, and achievement of overall lab outcomesCollaborate with Product Testing Leads and the rest of the team to provide relevant and timely testing data/updatesPlay an active role in supporting the business prioritizationMaintain an organized workspace, including sorting material delivered on palletsOperate and maintain laboratory equipment, including ensuring calibration and functionality of equipmentPerform and record various physical and thermal testing of insulation products, such as compression, tensile strength, density, dimensions, and thermal conductivityTake ownership of testing completed, including data entry, training requirements, and method updates when requiredCheck emails and calendar dailyJOB REQUIREMENTSMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Degree preferred, but not requiredThe capability to stand and manipulate (lift, bend, reach) lightweight (items for long periods of time) The ability to lift average to heavy-weight items (up to 50 lbs.) occasionally throughout the dayMust be self-motivated and accountableEXPERIENCE:Previous experience working in a R&D or quality laboratory preferredDemonstration of safe work practiceUnderstanding of laboratory techniquesKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:Practices safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and proceduresProficient communication and analytical skillsWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and OutlookStrong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively across the organizationCreative mindset, willing to try new ways of doing things to improve efficiency and create valueExperience with a laboratory information management system preferred https://www.linkedin.com/company/trispoke-managed-services-pvt-ltd/ https://www.trispokeservices.com/
