Senior Tax Manager (Business Tax Services)

What You Will Be Doing: Works with the tax team to review returns (some occasional prep may be needed during busy season) Handles routine client tax questions, and works with clients to collect necessary information for tax return completion and compliance In connection with engagements, be responsible for personnel scheduling, compliance with due dates, and monitoring of time budgets Assist Partners in practice development and practice management Recognizes and informs leadership of opportunities to increase level and types of services to clients Ensures professional development through ongoing education and obtaining additional certifications as appropriate Stays informed about firm capabilities other than tax compliance area, and promotes these activities to clients when appropriate Motivate and assist staff in their professional development What You Need for this Position At least 10 years in public accounting with an emphasis in taxation Ideally, at least 1 year in a Sr Mgr role, but experienced managers are encouraged to apply! Experienced with a variety of business taxes including S-Corp, C-Corp and Partnerships Experienced running teams and engagements B.S. in Accounting or related field
