Based on course content, wages will range from $1,297.00 per credit to $3,753.00 per credit.
In certain instances, due to low enrollment, faculty payment will be based on part-time per credit pay and pro-rated on a 10% per student basis.
Part-time employees also receive some benefits depending on the number of hours worked.

The faculty member will conduct their assignments and co-curricular college activities in a manner consistent with the philosophy and purpose of Aims Community College as stated in the school catalog. The primary purpose of the faculty member is to teach. Occasional travel will be required.
Job Duties:
Provide effective and high-quality instruction in the lecture and/or laboratory and clinical settings; utilize assessment techniques to evaluate instruction and student learning.
Provide effective and high-quality instruction in radiology technology courses.
Evaluate students' course work, provide feedback to foster greater student learning, and report grades in a timely manner.
Revise radiology technology courses to maintain current in pedagogy, content, and the high standards of the College.
Design educational methodologies and adopt learning-centered teaching practices to enhance student learning.
Communicate clearly defined student learning outcomes, provide an array of learning activities that are tied to and assess those outcomes, and participate in formative and summative assessments of student learning in radiology technology courses.
Analyze and utilize assessment data to improve instruction and learning. Demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement.
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in writing and orally.
Demonstrate a willingness to work as a team member toward the fulfillment of the College's Mission Statement, Purpose, and Vision.
Maintain positive, cooperative, and professional interpersonal relationships with students, faculty, staff, and administration.
Perform other department, division, and/or institutional duties as assigned by the Department Chair and/or Program Director.
Minimum Qualifications:
For the following courses: RTE 1001, 1011, 1021, 1022, 1031, 1032, 1041, 1042, 1081, 1082, 1083, 2021, 2031, 2080, 2081, 2082, 2089:
Associate of applied science degree in radiology plus registered technologist in radiography, A.R.R.T. plus 6,000 hours experience within the last seven (7) years. Experience older than seven (7) years will be considered if the candidate has been continuously teaching in the content area since that time.
For the following courses: RTE 2050, 2091:
Associate of applied science degree in radiology plus registered technologist in radiography plus registered technologist in mammography, A.R.R.T. plus 6,000 hours industry experience within the last seven (7) years. Experience older than seven (7) years will be considered if the candidate has been continuously teaching in the content area since that time.
Registered Technologist in Radiography RT(R) by the ARRT. Registry must be in good standing.
Shall hold or qualify for a post-secondary vocational credential in radiological technology issued by Aims Community College CTE Office. Contact Landon Loyd for the application at landon.loyd@aims.edu.
Hold a valid CPR/First Aid/AED certification or ability to obtain certification. CPR/First Aid/AED classes are offered to staff at no expense.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment post-offer urine analysis.
Preferred Qualifications:
Evidence of prior teaching in health occupation related area(s)
Background in teaching formal classes.
Active member of ASRT or CSRT or other state affiliate.
Community college (or University) teaching experience.
