We are seeking a friendly and professional bilingual Dental Assistant to join our Risas Family. Our dental assistants are empowered to educate our patients on dental treatment and procedures. We invest in our employee's growth and development through cross training in several dental specialties. We believe the most important function of any dental team member is care of the patient. Our Dental Assistant s work hands on with the doctors, in providing exceptional care for our patients while working efficiently to maintain patient flow.
Responsibilities: Assist doctors in all dental procedures andtreatment
Sterilize, disinfectand prepareinstruments andequipmentfor patienttreatment
Educate patients on general oral healthcare asdirected by the doctor
Presenting treatment to patients based ondoctorrecommendations
Complete x-rays and intra-oral pictures of patients in an efficient and timely manner
Record patient charting and all the doctor’ s notes in the digital patient chart asdirected
Maintain inventory andsupplies
Maintain strict compliance with State, Federal, and other regulations, (e.g., OSHA, HIPAA, andRisaspolicies and practices)
Any other duties and responsibilities asassigned
Qualifications: Bilingual Spanish/English required
High School Diploma or GEDrequired
X-ray certification orability to obtainwithin 3months ofhire
Coronal polish certificationpreferred
1-2years' experienceinthe dental field preferred
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Must have asuperior knowledge of dental clinical operationsandterminology
Ability to anticipate the needs of the doctor andpatients
Must haveawarmfriendly, outgoing personality and excellent organizational skills.
Ability to work within a team environment and lendsupport, as a team player, to teammates as needed.
