Technician 2 Power- South Valley

Pay Rate: $42.00 to $46.00 an hour Skills / Tech level progression Mentor and be a leader of projects Safety, measured in First Aid, OSHA recordables, Risks reported, etc. Other measures per business Here’s what you’ll get: Technical aptitude: knowledge in generators, industrial HVAC equipment, air compressors, electrical distribution, power generation, load banks, and/or BESS products Mechanically inclined: familiar with hand tool operation and have automotive lube and oil change as well as troubleshooting and testing experience Ability to do both physical work as well as think through and resolve technical problems; willing to get hands dirty, sweat, and interact with internal and external customers to deliver solutions that meet and exceed customer requirements Hold a valid driver’s license and obtain & maintain necessary certifications required to operate any equipment as dictated by federal, state and/or local ordinances. Be a well-rounded tech in multiple products; multi-skilled. Must have High School Diploma/GED. Other essential job requirements Availability to work the assigned schedule, travel to work locations (if needed) and be on standby for work outside of regularly scheduled shifts Must be able to stand, walk and sit for prolonged periods of time; and be able to walk over uneven terrain with functional balance that does not require any special assistive devices Must be able to move the extremities and spine through a functional range of motion that will permit work to be safely performed from ground / floor level to full overhead level Must have good finger dexterity to manipulate small items, functional hand-eye coordination, and functionally grip with adequate strength to safely hold tools and stair railing or ladders Must be able to safely meet the physical demands outlined in the Essential Physical Capacities Assessment and pass the post-offer physical abilities assessment, which includes being able to lift (60 lbs), push/pull (80 lbs), carry (60 lbs), climb stairs and ladders as well as a combination of climbing while carrying objects (15 lbs), stoop, kneel and squat Our people are can-do, positive, resilient and persistent.
