Job Overview:
A law firm seeks a junior-level Trusts and Estates Associate Attorney to join its Tax, Trusts and Estates, and Employee Benefits Practice Group in San Diego, California. The ideal candidate will have experience in estate and tax planning and estate and trust administration for high-net-worth clients.
Duties:
Draft estate plan documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and advance directives.
Assist with estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer tax matters.
Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda on estate, tax, and trust issues.
Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex planning strategies.
Manage client files efficiently.
Requirements:
2-4 years of law firm experience in estate planning or tax practice.
Excellent drafting and analytical skills.
Accurate and strong attention to detail.
Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple matters.
Superior academic credentials.
EducationLL.M. in Taxation preferred, but not required.
Certifications:
Admitted to and a member in good standing of the CA bar.
