Positions Needed: 1FTE: 0.5Schedule Monday Friday8:00 AM 5:00 PMDaily 8-hour shifts Call is optional Patient Population AdultsPatient Volume Outpatient endoscopy center: 16 patients per day Hospital census: 1416 patients per day Clinical Responsibilities AdmissionsRoundingProceduresRequired procedures: ColonoscopyEGDFlexible sigmoidoscopy DilationGeneral GI procedures Practice Environment251-bed acute care hospital Provider will also work at a secondary clinic nearby Provider will work with another GI physician in the practiceEMR:Epic Credentialing / Clinical Activity Requirements Must provide documentation of gastroenterology services representative of the scope and complexity of privileges requested during the previous 24 months If training to perform double balloon enteroscopy or capsule endoscopy occurred in the previous 2 years, applicant must provide: Description of supervised training on human subjects Letter from supervising physician attesting to clinical competence as an independent operator If training occurred more than 2 years ago, applicant must provide documentation of ongoing clinical practice in each privilege requested
