Automation Engineer

Responsibilities: Develop and commission Allen-Bradley PLC applications using RSLogix for Control Logix, Compact Logix, and PLC-5 systems. Develop SCADA applications using Wonderware and/or GE iFix, including scripting, security, recipes, reporting, and database integration. Configure SQL databases, computers, thin clients, virtualization technology, instrumentation, and control-system hardware. Create and review functional specifications, sequences of operation, P&IDs, schematics, panel layouts, and test protocols. Provide commissioning, customer training, validation, warranty, troubleshooting, and service support.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering Technology, or a related field.3+ years of control-system design and programming experience. Recent hands-on Allen-Bradley PLC and Wonderware or GE iFix SCADA development experience. Knowledge of cGMP practices, control-system documentation, instrumentation, and validation. Strong troubleshooting, customer service, communication, and project-management skills. Ability to travel approximately 10% and maintain a valid driver’s license.
