Account Executive OpportunityColonialWebb is seeking an Account Executive to drive new business growth across our existing building markets. Candidates from BAS, HVAC/mechanical service, controls, energy, fire/life safety, security, and other adjacent industries that call on similar commercial customers are encouraged to apply.This is a hunter-first role focused on creating opportunities, securing appointments, uncovering customer pain points, and helping customers solve facility, comfort, reliability, and energy-related problems.The person in this role will lead the sales effort from initial outreach through discovery, opportunity development, proposal coordination, and close.This role will primarily support the I-95 corridor, primarily Caroline county up to Stafford county.At ColonialWebb, we are deeply committed to our people, our culture, and the continued growth of our business. For over 50 years, we've been dedicated to delivering comprehensive solutions and unmatched service to our commercial customers, earning a reputation as a trusted contractor in the industry.Perks of joining ColonialWebb:Competitive salary and commission opportunities, there is unlimited earning potential!Career development and progression401(k) plan with company matchPTO and paid holidaysExcellent medical, dental, life, vision and disability benefitsEmployee Assistance ProgramEmployee referral incentivesOTE (base + commission + vehicle allowance) of $100k - $110k for your first year.What you will do:Develop self-generated new business opportunities in HVAC, Plumbing and Building PerformanceUse company-provided prospecting tools, lead intelligence resources, and market data to identify target accounts and prioritize outreachOpen doors with facility leaders, property stakeholders, operations contacts, and other decision-makers across targeted accountsUncover customer pain points related to building performance, system reliability, comfort, controls, service, energy use, and aging infrastructureCoordinate with internal estimating, operations, technical, and sales resources to develop proposals and move opportunities forwardPursue opportunities related to MEP service takeovers, controls upgrades, retrofits, replacements, optimization, and related building performance solutionsManage a disciplined sales pipeline and maintain accurate activity and opportunity tracking in CRMStay engaged through close and support a smooth transition into account management and operations after awardWhat we are looking for:At least 3 years of experience in outside sales, business development, or a similar hunter-focused roleProven ability to build pipeline through self-generated prospecting activityStrong appointment-setting and discovery skillsAbility to uncover business pain, create urgency, and move opportunities forwardComfort selling into longer-cycle opportunities involving multiple stakeholdersExperience selling into commercial buildings, facilities, operations, property management, institutional, or similar environments is strongly preferredIndustry experience in HVAC/mechanical service, energy, fire/life safety, security, or similar adjacent markets is a plusEOE M/W/Disability/VetsVeterans and those with previous military experience are encouraged to apply
