Qualifications: At least 5 years of experience preparing and prosecuting U.S. and foreign patent applications relating to medical devices, which includes surgical devices, robotics-assisted devices and cardiovascular tools. Experience with FTO and patentability analyses, due diligence, patent procurement, and managing patent portfolios. Degree in mechanical engineering is ideal [bachelor's or advanced degree]. Excellent academic credentials. State bar admission in jurisdiction of practice as well as USPTO admission. All candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S.
