Project Manager San Diego, CALong Term Contract Day to Day:• Manages and directs multiple medium to large-sized projects within a department or business unit.• Manages all activities leading to the successful completion of projects including project scoping, timelines, cost estimates, design, vendor management, and risk management.• Develops and maintains parameters for project requirements including tracking and issue management.• Provides direction to contractors, consultants, and project teams.• Coordinates input from and participation with various other departments within the Company as needed to meet project objectives, and resolves issues to ensure successful outcomes• Analyzes and determines regulatory impacts and requirements of the project.• Builds business cases and justifications for projects designed to improve business processes and/or efficiency.• Provides team/project goals and evaluates performance.• Researches and evaluates available contractors and consultants.• Prepares, negotiates, and approves or recommends approval of contracts and contract changes.• Manages related budget analysis, and prepares budget forecasts.• May be called upon to testify before and/or prepare supporting documentation for government agencies concerning cost estimates.-Bachelor's Degree required-Supplier to provide equipment (laptop and monitor)
