Job Description Mechanical Assembly Team Lead Starting pay rate $20/hr Plano, TX 75074 Monday - Friday 7AM - 3:30PM
Minimum Qualifications:
4+ years of experience in mechanical assembly or manufacturing, with at least 1 years in a leadership or lead role. Strong ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, assembly instructions, and work orders. Experience using hand tools, power tools, torque tools, measuring instruments, and assembly fixtures. Working knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality standards, and safety procedures. Experience training, mentoring, and leading assembly team members. Ability to troubleshoot mechanical assembly issues and implement corrective actions. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Experienced with Microsoft Office and manufacturing systems (ERP/MRP preferred).Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
Preferred Qualifications:
Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, or Six Sigma experience. Experience with continuous improvement initiatives. Knowledge of ISO 9001 or other quality management systems. Experience with root cause analysis and corrective actions. Forklift and overhead crane certification (if applicable).Experience working in a fast paced production manufacturing environment. Technical certification in mechanical assembly or industrial maintenance.

Coaches employees and provides constructive feedback. Coordinates with engineering, quality, planning, and warehouse teams to resolve production issues. Ensures compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards. Demonstrates strong decision-making and conflict-resolution skills. Maintains accurate production records and communicates status updates to management.
