Coverage: Scheduled + On CallEMR: EpicPractice Setting: Inpatient & OutpatientPrivileges: Hospital + ClinicSchedule:8-hour clinic shifts, 3 4 consecutive daysCoverage needed 2 weeks per monthAdjacent weekend EP call 1 2 times/monthWeekend call: 7:00 AM 5:00 PM rounding/inpatient coverage, followed by telephone call 5:00 PM 7:00 AMApproximately 5 hours of rounding per weekend dayAdditional EP lab days may be availablePatient Volume: Geriatric and age 50+ patientsApprox. 3 4 patients/dayRounding + admissionsProcedures / Services: Inpatient pacemaker implantationDCCV/cardioversionEP servicesMinimum 30 EP cases documented in the previous 24 monthsIf requesting ablation privileges: 30 ablation cases in the previous yearRequirements: Board Certified in Cardiac ElectrophysiologyMinimum 2 years of experienceActive cardiology practice with 100 inpatient cases in the previous 24 months, or qualifying recent trainingEpic experienceLicenses Required: Oregon medical licenseWilling to licenseBLSACLSCoverage Support: General Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology will also be on call during weekends.
