Neurology Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse

In this role, you'll provide comprehensive care to adult neurology and medical-surgical patients, including assessment, care planning, medication administration, and patient education. You will collaborate with physicians, therapists, and support staff to deliver evidence-based, patient-centered care. Provide direct nursing care to adult neurology and med-surg patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments safely and accurately Monitor patient status, interpret clinical data, and respond to changes in condition Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to develop and update care plans Educate patients and families on diagnosis, treatment, and discharge care Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in the EHR Follow evidence-based protocols, infection prevention, and patient safety standards Support a culture of teamwork, continuous improvement, and patient-centered care Acute care nursing Neurology nursing Medical-surgical nursing Patient xevrcyc assessment Care planning IV therapy and medication administration Telemetry monitoring Electronic Health Records (EHR) Patient and family education Clinical documentation Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Active RN license in NC or compact state BLS certification ACLS preferred NIH Stroke Scale certification preferred Certification in medical-surgical or neurology nursing preferred (e.g., CMSRN, CNRN)
