This leadership position is focused on the full sales cycle, from new logo acquisition to strategic account management, within the fiber-to-the-home and broader telecommunications engineering market. The successful candidate will be responsible for translating commercial strategy into team-level quotas, territory design, and day-to-day sales execution. This is a player/coach role, where the VP will lead a small team and be actively engaged in the field, coaching through complex deals, and building relationships with senior stakeholders. Success in this role is measured by team quota attainment, pipeline health, and the development of a high-performing sales team. Applicants for the VP, Sales & Marketing role at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, engineering, or a related field, with 3-5+ years of sales leadership experience. A proven track record in sales, particularly in the telecommunications, OSP, or engineering/construction industries, is essential. Experience in selling SaaS, software, or technical services to a technical buyer audience is also required. While not mandatory, exposure to FTTx or fiber deployment is strongly preferred.
