Painter

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Inspect and set-up equipment. Operate sanders, sand blasters, sprayers, and other power equipment. Clean, prep, and mask surfaces for painting/coating. Select and mix paint according to NOV and/or customer requirements. Perform spray painting functions related preparatory undercoating, preservatives, and lubricants. Clean and maintain paint shop equipment. Clean and store empty paint containers for proper disposal. Ensure all work performed is in a quality minded, tidy & accurate manner. Adhere to all Company policies. Follow all applicable company and corporate policies, guiding principles, procedures, and programs, including but not limited to quality, health, safety, and environmental requirements. Attend work per work schedule. Perform other work-related tasks as assigned. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS:High School Diploma or Equivalent 3+ years related experience painting a variety of surface types Basic reading, writing and math skills (required) Familiarity with standard power and hand tools Manufacturing or experience working with large equipment (preferred)NACE certification (preferred)
