Internal Audit VP

Barclay Simpson is working with a global financial services firm to recruit an Internal Audit VP in New York. Joining a growing team and reporting to the Head of Internal Audit, you will work across a broad remit spanning internal audit, risk management and projects to develop the function. Audit coverage includes investment valuations, operational processes, compliance and risk management, alongside opportunities to support improvement initiatives and the use of AI tools. The successful candidate will have internal audit experience within financial services, including banking, investment banking, asset management or wealth management. You may be an existing VP or an experienced AVP/Senior Associate ready for greater responsibility. Strong communication skills, adaptability and the ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders are important, alongside an interest in technology and innovation.
