This role is pivotal in leading the strategic direction of the organization, serving as its chief ambassador, and cultivating strong relationships with a diverse set of stakeholders, including business, civic, education, and government leaders. The CEO will be responsible for advancing sector-based workforce initiatives, developing sustainable revenue, and fostering a high-performing organizational culture. Experience in fundraising, business development, and a deep understanding of the local community or the ability to quickly establish credibility are essential. The ideal CEO for the company will be a strategic thinker, a trusted convener, and a change leader with a focus on innovation and influence. They must be adept at building and leading cross-sector coalitions, and be comfortable operating in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment. The role requires an individual with exceptional communication, facilitation, and presentation skills, who can engage with the region's most influential business leaders while also demonstrating the humility and collaborative mindset needed to work with a diverse set of partners.
