Rising Perspective Counseling is seeking a dedicated and Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our compassionate and dynamic team. Key Responsibilities:
Conducting individualized therapy sessions for clients, focusing on their unique needs and treatment goals.
Performing thorough assessments of patients' mental health status and creating comprehensive treatment plans tailored to their circumstances.
Recording and accurately documenting patient interactions and progress notes in accordance with regulatory and departmental guidelines.
Providing crisis intervention and support in emergency situations, ensuring patient safety at all times.
Facilitating family therapy sessions and engaging family members as part of the treatment process.
Staying informed of the latest therapeutic techniques and best practices in mental health care.
Actively participating in team meetings, contributing to case discussions, and collaborating on patient care strategies.
Advocating for resources and additional services for patients when necessary.
Patient Population / Client FocusThe licensed therapist will provide services to a diverse array of individuals, couples, and families with varying backgrounds and challenges. Our client focus includes adults, children, and adolescents, all of which require a tailored approach to therapy. You will be responsible for understanding and integrating cultural and spiritual considerations into your practice to enhance the therapeutic relationship.
Qualifications:
A Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field.
Current active licensure as an LPCC, LCSW, LMFT, or PsyD recognized by the State of California.
A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting, demonstrating clinical competency.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills that foster trust and rapport with clients.
Preferred Experience:
Experience providing marital and family therapy services to a variety of client demographics.
Proficiency in trauma-informed care and evidence-based therapeutic practices.
Experience in a remote work setting and familiarity with virtual therapy platforms.
Compensation and Benefits:
The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 120,000 to 130,000 annually, accompanied by a robust benefits package.
