Account Specialist

Location: Greater Cleveland, Ohio

Salary: $60,000 to $65,000

Position Overview: We are seeking an Account Specialist to support existing customer accounts and serve as a key point of contact between customers and internal teams. This position is heavily focused on customer service, order management, quoting, and day to day account support. The Account Specialist will respond to customer requests, prepare quotes and offers, process purchase orders, monitor orders, and coordinate internally to ensure customer needs are addressed accurately and on time. The ideal candidate is organized, responsive, comfortable managing multiple priorities, and able to build strong relationships with customers.

Responsibilities: • Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned customer accounts• Respond to customer questions, requests, and order related issues• Review RFQs and prepare customer quotes and offers• Receive, review, and process customer purchase orders• Manage order entry and monitor orders through completion• Communicate pricing, availability, delivery information, and order status to customers• Coordinate with purchasing, sales, operations, logistics, and other internal departments• Maintain accurate customer, order, pricing, and account information within internal systems• Assist with resolving delivery, pricing, inventory, and order discrepancies• Support existing accounts and strengthen customer relationships• Maintain organized documentation and follow up on outstanding customer requests• Work with customer drawings and product information as needed• Provide responsive customer service while managing multiple accounts and priorities Qualifications• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience• Previous customer service, account support, sales support, or order management experience• Strong written and verbal communication skills• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills• Experience with customer orders, quotes, pricing, or purchase orders preferred• Manufacturing, automotive, industrial, distribution, or similar experience preferred• Salesforce experience preferred• SAP or other ERP system experience preferred• Experience reviewing customer drawings or technical product information is a plus
