Bulldog Trial Lawyers (the firm) is a plaintiff-side employment law firm supported by Corgi. The firm's attorneys bring over 60 years of combined employment litigation experience, and Bulldog is growing fast. Attorneys who join now have real input into how the practice is built. Bulldog is seeking founding Associate Attorneys for its Pittsburgh office. The firm is building its partnership bench now, so the path at Bulldog is measured in results, not years. You'll carry your own caseload, appear on the record, and work directly with Bulldog's senior litigators on active plaintiff-side employment matters from day one.
Responsibilities:
Own and manage active employment litigation matters from intake through resolution- Develop case strategy and provide initial case analysis- Draft complaints, motions, briefs, discovery requests and responses, demand letters, and settlement agreements- Take and defend depositions, attend hearings, and support mediations and trials- Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and court staff- Explain legal options to clients and advise on possible outcomes- Manage discovery, document production, and case deadlines- Contribute to litigation planning and the firm's broader strategy Qualifications- Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school- Licensed and in good standing to practice law in Pennsylvania, or awaiting 2026 bar results- Experience in employment litigation or civil litigation preferred- Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills- Self-starter who takes ownership and works independently- Detail-oriented, organized, and effective managing multiple matters What Bulldog Trial Lawyers Offers- Competitive compensation with performance-based advancement- A direct path to partnership for attorneys who deliver- Comprehensive benefits
