Primary Staffing is hiring an IT Assistant to support the technology needs of a fast-growing logistics and warehousing operation. This position is ideal for someone with strong problem-solving skills, basic IT knowledge, and a willingness to learn and grow within the role. Training is available for the right candidate, with opportunities for career advancement based on performance.
Responsibilities: Provide technical support for computer hardware and software across multiple facilities. Assist employees with technical issues by phone, in person, or electronically. Install, configure, and update hardware and software as needed. Troubleshoot computers, printers, scanners, and other office equipment. Maintain printer toner inventory and request additional supplies when needed. Identify and resolve technical issues in a timely manner using available company resources. Support day-to-day IT needs and help ensure equipment and systems are functioning properly.
Requirements: Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills. Willingness to learn and develop technical skills. Ability to install and troubleshoot computer hardware and software. Working knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. Good communication and organizational skills. Ability to provide technical support across multiple facilities. Experience with AI-assisted coding tools and basic programming knowledge is a plus.
Schedule: Standard Office Hours
Pay: $22–$25/hr, based on previous experience
