Spine Clinical Registered Nurse

In this role, you'll deliver specialized nursing care to spine patients across the continuum, from pre-op education through post-operative recovery and follow-up. You'll perform comprehensive assessments, coordinate interdisciplinary care plans, manage pain and mobility, and support safe discharges. Working within a mission-driven, research-connected health system, you'll collaborate with surgeons, therapists, and case managers while advancing evidence-based practice and participating in quality initiatives that improve patient outcomes and experience. Provide specialized nursing care to integrated spine patients across the care continuum Conduct comprehensive pre- and post-operative spine assessments Coordinate interdisciplinary care plans with surgeons, therapists, and case managers Manage pain, mobility, and rehabilitation goals for spine patients Educate patients and families on procedures, recovery expectations, and home care Document care accurately in the electronic health record (EHR) Support safe discharge planning and care transitions Participate in quality, safety, and evidence-based practice initiatives Collaborate within a mission-driven, patient-focused care team Maintain compliance with clinical, regulatory, and infection prevention standards Spine assessment and care Post-operative care management Care coordination and discharge planning Patient xevrcyc and family education Electronic Health Records (EHR) documentation Pain management protocols Interdisciplinary team collaboration Clinical decision-making and triage Quality and safety compliance Infection prevention practices Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Registered Nurse (RN) license Basic Life Support (BLS) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Orthopaedic Nursing Certification (ONC) preferred Spine or neurosurgical nursing experience preferred
