Laboratory Technician - Manufacturing, GMP or ISO

Job Description: Required Education: • Associate Degree Preferred Education: • B.S./B.A. in relevant field Required Qualifications/Skills/Experience: • This is an entry-level position in a Manufacturing group that is responsible for producing reagents for in-vitro diagnostic assays. • Candidates with limited laboratory experience will be considered. • Applicants with industrial experience and knowledge of GMP/ISO will be preferred. • Local candidates are preferred. • The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic and professional demeanor Responsibilities: • Supports production operations with routine stocking, cleaning of manufacturing areas, other lab support duties • Low complexity manufacturing operations and equipment support (column maintenance, equipment maintenance and/or cleaning) • Glassware washing • Material inventory monitoring support • Collaborating with laboratory biochemists to order required buffers to meet weekly schedule • Support Buffer manufacturing lab as needed • 5S audits of laboratories for adherence to cleanliness, maintenance, and organization expectations • The ideal candidate will be proficient in time management, possess well developed interpersonal skills, demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, and exhibit attention to detail.
