Restaurant Cashier

Raising Cane’s is hiring Cashiers to deliver an upbeat, accurate, and friendly guest experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Cashier, you’ll greet customers, take orders, operate the POS system, and handle cash and card transactions with accuracy. You’ll help assemble and hand out orders, maintain a clean and welcoming dining and front counter area, and follow all food safety and sanitation standards. Working as part of a high-energy team, you’ll build strong customer service and hospitality skills with opportunities for training, advancement, and leadership growth. Greet guests warmly and take accurate food and beverage orders Operate the POS system, handle cash, and process payments accurately Prepare and assemble orders according to Raising Cane’s standards Maintain a clean, organized front counter, dining area, and workstations Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene procedures Provide fast, friendly, and responsive customer service during peak times Communicate clearly with kitchen and drive-thru teams to ensure order accuracy Assist with restocking supplies and packaging materials Support opening and closing procedures as assigned by management Uphold Raising Cane’s brand standards, policies, and safety guidelines Cash handling Point-of-sale (POS) operation Order taking Food handling safety Customer service Basic math skills Cash reconciliation Cleaning and sanitizing Upselling Team communication Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Food Handler certification (where required by state/local law)
