CHESTERVILLE: FARMINGTON - INDUSTRY - NEW SHARON - NEW VINEYARD - STARKS TEMPLE - VIENNA - WELD - WILTON Theater - One Act Play Director Job Goal(s): Choose an age appropriate one act play for middle school students Hold auditions and cast the play Conduct rehearsals 2-3 times a week, usually for 1.5-2 hours from early January to early March Play is performed the second weekend in March, auditions and subsequent rehearsals should start at the beginning of January or just before winter break in December. Usually 15-25 kids

Qualifications: Candidates should be energetic, flexible, knowledgeable in theatre, comfortable with middleschool students, good communicators, exhibit healthy boundaries, etc.

Certifications: Valid CHRC Performance ResponsibilitiesHas a thorough knowledge of all thestudent conduct and co-curricular policiesapproved by theMt. Blue District Schools' Board of Education and is responsible for their implementation. EducationThe Director must be at least 20 years of age, or a high school graduate. ExperienceHave prior experience in community or school theater. Working ScheduleFlexible after school hours required for this position, including weekends as necessary/scheduled.

Stipend Position: $1,017

Reports To: Building Administration Terms of Employment: As determined annually by the District. Evaluation: Completed annually by Building Administration

FLSA Status: Exempt
