Early Childhood Teacher

KinderCare is seeking dedicated Teachers for our Melrose center to nurture and educate young children in a safe, engaging environment. In this role, you will plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum, lead age-specific classroom activities, and support children’s social, emotional, and cognitive growth. You’ll partner closely with families, maintain licensing and safety standards, and collaborate with a supportive, diverse team. Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate lesson plans and activities Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment Support children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development Communicate regularly with families about child progress and classroom events Maintain classroom organization, cleanliness, and safety standards Ensure compliance with state licensing and KinderCare policies Observe, document, and assess children’s learning and behavior Collaborate with center staff to support center-wide goals and events Participate in ongoing professional development and training Assist with classroom transitions, routines, and behavior guidance Early childhood curriculum planning Classroom management Child development knowledge Lesson planning and documentation Parent communication Student observation and assessment Behavior management techniques Knowledge of state licensing regulations Health and safety practices in childcare Collaboration with teaching teams Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Child Development Associate (CDA) or willingness to obtain State-specific early childhood education credential (where applicable) CPR and First Aid certification Background check clearance per state requirements
