Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and resident dietary needs
- Ensure meals are prepared and served safely and on time
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and infection control standards
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen
- Assist with food preparation, storage, and inventory as needed
- Work closely with the Dietary Manager and dietary team
- Provide friendly, respectful service to our residents
Qualifications:
- Previous cooking or food service experience preferred
- Healthcare, skilled nursing, or senior living experience preferred, but not required
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Dependable, organized, and able to work well as part of a team
- Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen environment
