Minimum Qualifications:

Supervisory Controls: This person works in the Police Department under the direct supervision of the Records Clerk Supervisor. Guidelines: Guidelines for this position include city ordinances, departmental policies and procedures and relevant state and federal laws. These guidelines are clear and specific. Complexity: The position consists of related administrative and clerical tasks. Scope and Effect: The purpose of this position is to log and maintain police records for investigative and statistical reports. Personal Contacts: Contacts are typically with co-workers, the general public, and other city employees. Purpose of Contacts: Contacts are typically accessed to exchange information, resolve problems and provide services.
Physical Demands: The work is typically performed with the employee sitting at a desk with intermittent standing or walking. The employee occasionally lifts.
Work Environment: The work is typically performed in an office. Supervisory and Management Responsibility: None
