Customer Service & Logistics Specialist

What You’ll Do: In this role, you’ll help manage the customer experience from order through shipment.

Your responsibilities will include: Responding to customer inquiries by phone and email and helping guide customers through the ordering process Processing customer purchase orders and preparing sales orders, invoices, bills of lading, pick lists, labels, and other shipping documentation Coordinating domestic and international shipments, including hazardous and non-hazardous materials Working directly with customers to organize product shipments throughout the U.S. and Canada Partnering with third-party warehouses to coordinate shipping and fulfillment Supporting the sales team by preparing customer quotes Helping troubleshoot issues and resolve competing priorities as they arise Keeping orders and documentation organized, accurate, and moving forward

What We’re Looking For: We’re looking for someone who takes ownership of their work and enjoys being part of a smaller, collaborative team. You’ll likely be a strong fit if you bring: At least 3 years of B2B customer service experience Strong communication and customer service skills Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills The ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities at once Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Adobe PDFExperience with Quick Books or similar business/enterprise softwareA flexible, adaptable approach and willingness to jump in where neededA team-oriented mindset and interest in learning and growing with the organization Even better if you have: Experience coordinating international shipments Experience with hazardous-material shipping documentation or processes Previous experience working within the chemicals industry
