Coverage Needed Sept 5, Sept. 7-8 (nights) Sept 13 day/night (we could book a 24 hour shift) Sept 20, Sept.23-25 (days) Schedule 12 hour shifts 7a-7p and 7p-7a or 24 hour shifts Clinical Details 10-20 patients per shift 12 beds in department Trauma level 3 facility 2 locations - opportunities to float to other locations Average daily volume is between 25-30 with only 3-5 being actual ER patients. Twelve bed inpatient unit staffed during the day by NP working with a tele-hospitalist. Tele-hospitalist coverage at night. Tele-stroke planned. On site lab, x-ray and CT. No unscheduled MRI. Point of care ultrasound available for use by ED providers. Diagnostic ultrasound weekdays and potentially weekends and evenings (TBD).
