Company Description: MoneyDuct is a fintech company focused on helping online retailers navigate upcoming PSD2 regulations by simplifying and improving the payment experience. Through its Payment Initiation Service Platform (PISP), MoneyDuct reduces friction in checkout flows, decreases cart abandonment, and lowers payment commissions for retailers and consumers. The company is building an MVP in close collaboration with a strong software development team and experienced business development advisors, while engaging anchor retail partners. MoneyDuct is also developing additional services for retailers, consumers, and existing payment providers, and is actively seeking investment to expand its offering.
Role Description: We are hiring a Web3 Risk & Portfolio Manager to lead portfolio risk analysis, digital asset research, market intelligence, and investment-focused reporting across Web3 and cryptocurrency markets. This is a full-time, paid remote role focused on Web3 portfolio strategy, crypto risk analysis, digital asset markets, asset allocation, and blockchain finance. The Web3 Risk & Portfolio Manager will monitor Web3 markets, evaluate portfolio exposure, review risk factors, and prepare strategy materials across cryptocurrencies, DeFi protocols, tokenized assets, stablecoins, blockchain infrastructure, and crypto-native financial products. This role is ideal for someone with strong interest in Web3 finance, digital asset portfolios, crypto markets, risk management, and emerging financial technology.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead research across Web3 markets, cryptocurrency assets, digital asset portfolios, token ecosystems, DeFi protocols, stablecoins, and blockchain networks
  • Monitor portfolio exposure, liquidity conditions, capital flows, volatility, token performance, investor sentiment, and market cycle developments
  • Support risk analysis, asset allocation strategy, portfolio positioning, downside scenario review, concentration analysis, and opportunity evaluation
  • Prepare portfolio risk reports, market intelligence updates, digital asset summaries, allocation briefs, and Web3 strategy materials
  • Track developments across crypto exchanges, DeFi platforms, tokenized finance, Web3 infrastructure, institutional adoption, and on-chain market activity
  • Evaluate risks related to liquidity, volatility, token concentration, protocol exposure, custody considerations, regulatory developments, and market positioning
  • Collaborate with team members on portfolio analysis, risk reporting, investment strategy, digital asset research, and Web3 market projects
  • Maintain organized research files, portfolio trackers, risk dashboards, token watchlists, allocation notes, and Web3 intelligence resources
Qualifications:
  • Strong interest in Web3 portfolio strategy, cryptocurrency, digital assets, risk analysis, DeFi, stablecoins, and tokenized finance
  • Familiarity with crypto markets, portfolio research, risk management, asset allocation, investment research, token analysis, or digital asset strategy
  • Understanding of liquidity, volatility, capital flows, market cycles, concentration risk, investor sentiment, portfolio exposure, and digital finance concepts
  • Familiarity with blockchain explorers, crypto analytics tools, DeFi dashboards, Trading View, portfolio tools, risk dashboards, or financial research platforms is a plus
  • Strong research, analytical, strategic thinking, leadership, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to explain portfolio risk, Web3 market trends, digital asset exposure, and investment opportunities clearly
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment while managing multiple research, risk, and strategy priorities
  • Previous experience in investment research, crypto research, fintech, financial markets, portfolio analysis, risk management, asset management, or Web3 projects is helpful
