Accounts Payable Clerk Support both retail and manufacturing facilities with vendor creation and maintenance. Provide administrative support to the Corporate AP department. Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Review new vendor set up paperwork for completeness Create and maintain new vendor master files including address changes, EFT payment setup, etc. Assist with vendor and divisional AP inquiries. Prepares accounts payable checks. Prepare accounts payable reconciliation reports. Prepares analysis of accounts, as required. Assists in monthly closings. Administrative tasks (filing, etc) Special projects as needed
Qualifications:
  • Ability to prioritize and to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to handle confidential information in a discreet, professional manner
  • Eye for detail, accuracy is imperative
  • Able to meet deadlines
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills
  • Ability to be an effective team member and display initiative
  • Proficient with MS Word and Excel; Navision experience desired
  • Education and/or Experience
Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or one to 3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
