To support a growing team, the full-time Senior Cyber Underwriter will underwrite complex Cyber, Tech E&O, and Media accounts, manage broker relationships, mentor junior underwriters, and collaborate with colleagues in a hybrid work environment.
Key responsibilities: Meet profitability, retention, and written premium goals for an assigned portfolio of complex accounts Exercise independent underwriting judgment and maintain proper file documentation Lead and mentor junior underwriters while collaborating to achieve organizational goals
Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience preferred 5+ years of insurance underwriting experience, focusing on Cyber, Tech E&O, or Media Advanced knowledge of Cyber insurance Established network of broker and client contacts in the Chicago Metro area Proven leadership experience with a focus on team development and inclusivity
